Extra Natura Cooked Ham and Cheese Pastry
Preparation
Roll out the puff pastry dough and use it to line a round, detachable tin. Prick the dough with a fork to stop it rising during cooking. On the dough, arrange the slices of Casademont Extra Natura Cooked Ham and then add the slices of cheese on top of the ham one by one until they are all spread out. Brush the ends of the dough with egg yolk. Cover with the other layer of pastry dough and press one onto the other with your fingers to close it. Make a small hole in the centre of the covering of dough so that the steam can escape and brush the top of the dough with egg yolk. Put in the oven for at 200º for 20 minutes and finish baking at 160º until it is nice and golden.
This dish can be enjoyed either hot or cold..
Ingredients
6 slices of Casademont Extra Natura Cooked ham.
6 slices of Emmental cheese.
2 layers of puff pastry dough and egg.
